A Game Of Paintball Benefits From Accessories Such As Paintball Grenades

Paintball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. When the proper safety gear is worn, insurance statistics show that this sport is considered one of the safest sports to play, even safer than tennis. An elimination game that began in 1981, paintball has experienced a boom in popularity ever since it was first introduced as a game called Survival. In it’s beginning, there were no paintball mines, paintball grenades or different styles of weapons.

In The Beginning Held An Important Professional Position

Originally, the game was played with Nel-Spot 007s pistols that were originally created for forestry personal and cattle owners to mark trees and cattle from a great distance. However, these guns or markers were discovered in an agricultural catalog and proved to be the exact weapon the original Survivor participants were seeking.

The Paintball Grenade Increases The Fun And The Challenge

In the years that have followed that first game of Survival, paintball has evolved and new and exciting weaponry continues to be developed to increase the challenges and excitement of the game. Paintball grenades, while not 100% accurate, they do increase the overall tone and fun found in the game. Paintball grenades are most commonly used on a course described as woodsball. Paintball when played as a recreational game often takes place in a wooded area with participants dressed in camouflage clothing and trying to eliminate one another and capture the enemies flags. These fields are generally larger than competition fields and allow the teammates a great deal of rough terrain, bunkers and natural blockers such as trees, bushes, etc. with which to hide.

The paintball grenade adds an exciting element to the woodsball game as it allows a participate to throw a paint filled weapon from a hidden location and surprise an opponent. These tiny little weapons of warfare work well if thrown with enough force, however, if thrown softly or delayed in their landing by branches and such, the force necessary to break the seal may not occur and then the paintball grenade may fall into the hands of your enemy.

The design, created in 1989, remained standard for nearly a decade before another competitor redesigned it. Tippman Pneumatics is the first company that patented the paintball hand grenade, calling it the squad buster. Although it had many different problems, such as a soft landing or the paintball grenade was given too much time and allowed to set up, it was still very popular with paintball game enthusiasts.
